Green Chile Casserole

Hearty, comforting, and packed with bold green chile flavor, this Green Chile Casserole is a true crowd-pleaser. Layers of savory ingredients and melty cheese come together for an easy, satisfying dish with a signature Southwestern kick.

INGREDIENTS:
• 2 lbs ground beef
• 3 cans Chicken and Rice Soup
• 3 cans Cream of Chicken Soup
• 2 lbs of grated colby cheese
• 1 medium chopped onion
• 4 cups of chopped green chile
• 2 to 3 dozen corn tortillas
DIRECTIONS:
• Brown ground beef and season with garlic salt to taste.
• Mix and heat the soups in a pot
• Layer ingredients in a 9x13" pan
• Scoop a little bit of the soup to barely cover bottom of pan and layer the tortillas (8 or so per layer).
• Then add ½ the meat mixture, ½ the chile, ½ of the onion and ½ of your cheese.
• Spread enough of the soup mixture to cover the layer.
• Repeat again with tortillas and end with soup.
• Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes (until bubbly).
• Remove from oven and let set for 30 minutes or longer before serving.
